Participation Policy

Participant Responsibilities
Participants must follow all instructions and guidance given by Company staff. This includes adherence to vehicle operation procedures, use of safety equipment, and compliance with designated routes or boundaries. Participants are expected to act responsibly, exercise reasonable care for their own safety and that of others, and report any concerns to their instructor. Failure to follow instructions or act responsibly may result in exclusion from the activity without refund.

Assumption of Risk
The Company takes safety seriously, and the welfare of trainees and instructors will always remain our top priority. All training activities are formally risk assessed and delivered by qualified, experienced instructors, with control measures in place to minimise foreseeable risks. However, off-road driver training takes place in a dynamic outdoor environment that carries inherent hazards — including changeable terrain, vehicle movement, mechanical failure, weather conditions, and human error. While every reasonable step is taken to manage and reduce these risks through planning, instruction, and supervision, a residual level of risk will always remain, which may result in injury, illness, or, in rare cases, death. By booking, participants acknowledge and accept this inherent level of risk.

Medical Conditions
Participants must inform the Company of any physical or health conditions that may affect participation. This information will be treated in the strictest confidence.

Driving Licences
Training takes place on private ground, off the public highway. Participants must hold a valid driving licence and be competent in the basic operation of a road vehicle. If using their own vehicle, participants are responsible for ensuring it is roadworthy, legal, and insured.

Language Requirements
To ensure safety, all participants must have a good standard of spoken and written English to understand and act on instruction.

Alcohol & Drugs
The Company has a zero-tolerance policy on alcohol and drugs. Any participant suspected of being under the influence will be excluded from training without refund.

Payment Terms

Full payment is required at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Bookings are not confirmed until payment is received.

If payment is not received by the due date, the Company reserves the right to cancel the booking.

Additional costs incurred during training or events at the client’s request will be invoiced after the event and must be settled within 14 days.

Cancellation by the Client

Cancellations made 28 days or more before the course date: 30% cancellation fee.

Cancellations made 15–27 days before the course date: 50% cancellation fee.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the course date: 100% cancellation fee.

Cancellation by the Company

The Company will make every effort to deliver services as described but reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments without affecting overall quality. If cancellation is unavoidable, clients will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

The Company’s liability is limited to the fees paid. It is not liable for incidental or consequential losses. No warranties, expressed or implied, are given.

Force Majeure

Neither party will be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, strikes, pandemics, transport disruption, civil disorder, or terrorism.

In such cases, postponement will be offered where possible, with deposits carried forward to the new date. If cancellation is necessary, refunds will be made less any non-recoverable costs already incurred by the Company.

Liability

The Company accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal property.

Participation is at the individual’s own risk.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Certificates & Competence

Certificates are awarded only when participants demonstrate the required level of competence. Attendance alone does not guarantee certification.
