Operating 4x4 vehicles off road requires specific knowledge of vehicle systems, driving techniques and environmental awareness. For this reason, the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) requires appropriate training for people operating 4x4 vehicles as part of their employment.

Basic level 4x4
A basic half-day course covering 4×4 safety and instruction on mild slopes and terrain offering limited traction such as gravel, snow and mud.
STANDARD level 4x4
The Standard Level BORDA course is our most popular course - designed for operators who use 4x4 vehicles in varied off-road terrain, including moderate slopes and conditions with reduced traction.
HIGHER level 4x4
The Higher Level BORDA course is for drivers requiring comprehensive knowledge of 4x4 systems, robust off-road driving techniques and the ability to operate in challenging environments.
